our dear Ed asks us if we see penguins... well Ed, not now as we are living in a big city not very close to the sea but we did when we travelled down South
We went to a place called Peninsula Valdes and we saw whales and sea lions and sea elephants!!! and we also rented a car an drove to see the biggest colony of Magallanes Penguins

We saw them hanging out with guanacos, another typical animal in Patagonia

they are very cute and very smelly

we also saw them cuddling in their little houses

some of them were having their babies at that time, this mother is nesting her new born!

there are lots by the sea and they make funny noises

the water must be so cold, check out this one running out

I think they are happier by the sore

It looks like Sam found a pocket size penguin to bring home!

Great photos, Marta. They are so cute. I remember going to see them near Punta Arenas--my first time seeing them in the wild. That was very clever of Ed to know there are penguins in SA!
